Retired, served in the Vietnam War, flying over 300 missions in a single man, A4 Skyhawk. While in Vietnam he earned the Navy’s Distinguished Flying Cross and was given the call sign ‘Blue Chip’. He was a later an instructor at the famous Top Gun school for Navy Fighter pilots in California.
